This heavy-duty storage shelving is a standing 5-tier shelf unit with a steel rack and shelves made of particle board. Standing shelf units are commonly used to store items and help create organized, efficient, and safer work areas. They can be used to store tools, paint, automotive detailing products, food, drink, and more in the garage, pantry, closet, kitchen, warehouse, basement, living room, and office.
The boltless design makes this storage rack easy to assemble by lightly pressing it with your hands or a rubber hammer. The shelving unit has riveted beams and braces that lock into corner post rivet holes for structural security. You can customize and combine several shelving units according to your needs, building them vertically as a shelving unit or horizontally as a workbench. The corner post rivet holes are punched at 1.5" intervals for precise shelf height installation.
The metal frames and support beams are 0.03" thick heavy-duty steel with a black powder-coated finish to resist chipping and corrosion. The shelves are made of high-quality, 0.3" thick FSC-certified MDF boards instead of flimsy 0.15" particle boards or easily bent 0.02" metal boards.
Additional features include non-slip rubber feet for better stability and floor protection, a rubber mallet for easier installation, and installation gloves to protect your hands. Each shelf can hold up to 265 lbs, with a total maximum load weight of 1,325 lbs for the 5-tier unit.
